My Healing Journey & Approach

MIND-BODY PAIN RECOVERY COACH

From feeling stuck in pain…

To getting back to the sport I love — and helping others do the same.

For years, I lived with chronic pain.

I was trained as a physiotherapist. I understood anatomy, movement, and rehabilitation — so when my own pain started, I believed I would know how to fix it.

But the pain didn’t go away.

I went from living an active lifestyle to feeling afraid of movement.

Every flare left me confused, frustrated, and questioning my body.

I know what it’s like to feel scared of moving again.
To worry that one wrong step will set you back.
To miss the things that once made you feel like yourself.

For me, it was soccer.

I missed playing more than anything.
It felt like a part of me was gone.

And more than the pain — I missed feeling like myself.

What Changed Everything ?

It’s a new approach

Most traditional approaches focus mainly on the physical body.

But chronic pain is more complex than that. The physical is just one part.

Pain also involves your nervous system, your thoughts, your emotions, and your past experiences.

Within the current healthcare system, there’s often not enough time or space to look beyond symptoms and explore the full picture of what’s driving someone’s pain.

So people are left trying multiple treatments, doing everything they’ve been told, and still not seeing lasting change.

That’s when my approach began to evolve.

My Approach

Chronic pain is not just physical.

My approach focuses on helping you understand your pain — how it works and why it hasn’t gone away.

Together, we address the factors that traditional care often misses — your nervous system, your thoughts, your emotions — in a way that feels safe, personal, and sustainable.

Together, we work on:

Shifting fear and limiting beliefs around movement

Learning how to respond differently to pain

Rebuilding a sense of safety in your body

Gradually returning to activity with confidence

Understanding why your pain keeps flaring

Helping your body feel safe enough to change.

Together, we work on:

Your pain is Real

and it’s not your fault.

Pain isn’t the enemy — it’s your body trying to protect you.

Healing doesn’t come from fighting your body,
but from learning to work with it.
And recovery is possible.

My goal is not just to help you reduce pain.

It’s to help you:

Reconnect with your body
Rebuild trust in yourself
Return to the life you miss

Because pain doesn’t have to define your future.
